Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy and Vascular & Lymphatic Rehabilitation
Physical therapy uses a range of techniques and equipment to develop, maintain and restore the greatest possible movement and function, as quickly as possible.
Our physical therapy service helps people at any stage of life whose movement is limited by aging, injury, illness or other conditions.
Vascular and lymphatic rehabilitation focuses on preventing and treating diseases of the arteries, veins and lymphatic system and their skin complications, and on restoring the motor function and coordination linked to them.
Physical therapy is also the treatment of choice for most physical after-effects of cancer treatment. Ideally it starts before surgery and continues during and after chemotherapy, immunotherapy or radiation therapy to improve quality of life.
What we treat
- Functional rehabilitation for older adults (after fractures, arthritis, osteoarthritis, immobility, Alzheimer's and other dementias)
- Vascular and lymphatic rehabilitation
- Stroke rehabilitation
- Orthopedic and sports injuries (before and after surgery, joint pain, sprains, muscle strains, tendinitis and more)
- Cancer rehabilitation (before and after breast surgery, lymphedema, functional exercise)
